KTX (Kombat Teams eXtreme) is a QuakeWorld server-side mod (client doesn't need any files) featuring many playmodes including: DeathMatch, Capture The Flag, Rocket Arena, Instagib, Yawnmode...

It provides enhancements like VWEP, spawn models and more! KTX also provides administrators with a lot of features to control how the server behaves and what the players have access to and can change, along with detailed statistics. Inspired by KTPro (a non opensource QuakeWorld server modification), KTX has been developed to provide the QuakeWorld community with a more evolving opensource code and is based on Kombat Teams 2.21.

We provide a KTX-powered server at ktx.quake.ie, for the purpose of ranking Irish player stats and for hosting regular competition games. The server admin is pleuraXeraphim, so drop him a line if you have any queries. He will of course be keeping you up to date with the latest competition games via the News section.
