i propose you to improve the irish quake scene with a nice event:

for de 1st of november (friday) me and a couple of friends are going to play quake iii (point release 1.32, osp 1.01, rocket arena,...) in dnc (temple bar, essex st east)

if anyone want to join us... just come

purpose: because we don't want too many cs players :d

Sorry, I forgot to tell you two things:

1st. We play from 11:00 pm until 9:00 am because there is a great offer: if you play the 10 dammed hours you only have to pay €13 but… (2nd)

2nd. You have to book first (I recommend you to book as soon as possible because there are a lot of Japanese and Russian people that want to play fucking CS)

*Another thing: they have got the last point release (1.32) and the last osp (1.01) but quake is not installed in most of the computers. It takes only 20 minutes to install it and configure it (20 min in 10 hours is nothing) (don’t forget to send your config to your e-mail to save time) Before the 1st of october I will ask them to download Rocket Arena, so if you want an other mod just post it and I will ask them to download it.

*You can bring your own mouse pad and your little rat

PS: all this is to show to the staff and manager of dNC (and also all the camperstrikers) that there are still people that want to play this amazing game.

REMEMBER THEN:

_ 1st of November (Friday)
_ Playing from 11:00 pm until 9:00 (€13)
_ Book first and as soon as possible*
_ Don't forget to send your config to your e-mail or bring a diskette or CD with it.
_ You can bring your own mouse and mouse-pad (I really recomend you to do it)
_ Bring also your own Quake CD if you have one becose if we are a lot of people to install it we will loose a lot of time.

* If you book it is supossed that you are going to stay in the cyber for the whole night. If you don't want to you must pay €13 anyway, so it's up to you.

Please guys... come and show to this suckers why we play QuakE ]l[ ArenA instead of Coutercrap

I send a e-mail to dNC (games@doesnotcompute.ie
) to try to make them think about the purpose... I said to them to install the game before we come but I don’t promise anything. You should try to send more e-mails to make them think seriously about it

An other thing... I'm not from Ireland... but if I will, I would talk to the manager of dNC to get sponsored (that mean play for free and giv you should try guys...

blah i went in today, im stripped for cash, read: i have no money. they want us to book now to be safe. someoen make a deposit on 3 pc's for nov 1. say theres a crowd coming, say to them we need about 8 pc's?
