this is just going to be a brief column. well i started playing quake3 at the end of august, having really only played tfc online beforehand. needless to say the change was immense. i seemed to have a nice start being on isdn already(at this stage i didn't realise that isdn was pants for playing q3 on), but alas this wasn't enough of an advantage to make up for my attrocious aim, so even benji was able to beat me :( . still i was enjoying being whipped by everyman and his dog (benji) . eventually i started to learn how to aim, and even began to use the railgun a bit.

i was mainly played duels and some 4v4's late at night. duels i thoroughly enjoyed (despite the rapage) but tdm just wasn't as much fun, then i joined jb and played a ctf game. and instantly i decided that this was the game i wanted to play online.

so now i knew what i wanted to do in the q3 scene(play ctf :d) i began playing a good bit of ctf despite not having the 3wave map pack, so mainly i just played ctf2 . eventually i got the 3wave map pack and things began to take off with jb aswell, recruiting m1ke, melachi and soon after dallow, playing alot of practice games and finding regular practive partners in bdi which brings us to where we are now, about to compete in savage cup on sunday and today we learned that we've been put in bwq3ctf div 3a(ta killy) so things seem to be on the up for us.
