| well barrysworld second week has just ended and a valuable lesson was learned by us(jobos) tonight. the lesson being that more then 6 active players are needed to play in the league. earlier on in the night we ended up using mercs in one savage cup game and forfeiting the second which isn't very pleasing. with one being unable to attend the bw game we were left with 5 people to be able to play the game. so all seemed well and good that was until we joined the server.
upon joining the server (bw had shite connects tonight) we noticed one person had a 500 ping which went down to 100 and back to 999 about a minute later. game started and after a long pause cos of his gay punkbuster problems and him dropping again upon resumption we were made play 5v4 for most of the rest of the map until he rejoined at the end of the map, which basically rules out any chance you have of taking any points at all from the map.
so what to do recruiting players is hard as you don't know how they are going to act, how they play and how active they are as thats really the main factor with us at the moment. next two weeks should be quite eventful for us in seeing can we get one or two more players to boost our squad
also my connection is utterly fecked at the moment. just like killy i can't go near the quad in mess about tdm games and anytime someone fires a plasma gun shot i might aswell type kill with a / before it of course. duels are ok though even on vishnu. then came tonight where i went 128k on oceanfree and was still pinging 70 odd :( even since my first column my understanding of the shiteness of isdn has increased immensly.
on a completely different matter saik informed me recently that my computer is very lucky to be still running. see here you can see the lack of a fan, well you should be able to see it hanging down on top of my graphics card. my computer was running like that for about 2 months so once fraglan is over i shall be attempting to overclock my pc, with a bit of help from saik hopefully :d
finally nexus has invited me to his house on wednesday, i'm very scared :(
