| ah guess who just got his connection back after 2 years?? nice nice...
i'm after getting a job inside in the college in ul, an area of it that as yet has not been firewalled, so i have a t1 under my arse again and access to play as slpb as often as i like. and that's fuckin cool, because it means that for the first time in a long time, nd can have 4 players permanently available to play games (me, overlord, koopa, sonic) without having to haul machines to rooms etc. it also means i can actually practise regularly online which is something i haven't been able to do since 4th yr in college, not to mention just blatant leeching at 150k/sec. nice.
not much else new other than that. lj (bunny) trotted off to the galway lan with koopa and quozl at the weekend, said it was good crack, they played a huge variety of games, including the new operation flashpoint, which is apparently deadly, and of course alien-v-predator. anytime i think of that game i remember the fti lan that we ran at reapers house 2 years ago, where it was reaper vs 6 marines and the 6 guys were hiding locked into one room waiting for him to come in, but he was already in there and he dropped off the roof and savaged all 6 of them, it was fuckin hilarious.
anyhoo, looking forward to playing online again, we have been playing q3/qw in the gaff quite a bit. i see mp is setting up the q3ctf team for the euro ctf league, it should be good crack, and he'll obviously do a good job of it. must go do some work, will update later when i'm bored.
