darkside v is a 24 hour byoc lan, kicking off on the 22nd of feb. there will be tournaments / competitions and there will be some prizes. this will be one of the biggest lans to-date in ireland with over 80 people signed up and ready to rock n' roll.

but then again, david, you would throw out dm2, dm4, and dm6 if that is the way competitions had developed. so there is no comparison, the adopted format should reflect current tendencies.

current duel competitions are also using q3dm13 and ospdm8. NO WAY. NOT EVER.
with these 3 maps looks it like sam might not actually win!

they say ztn is the most popular map nowadays, i personally find it ok, i spose it offers more variety than a shaft and the odd rocket, pro-dm6 is a must,pro-t4 is a good specialist map...as for ospdm8 and dm13, i think dm8 is atrocious and dm13 okay
