after being fed up with the pathetic barely working 9.75 logitech drivers for my mx500, i defected to ms and got myself an explorer 3, which worked just fine but was noticeably less sensitive than the mx500 was. a few days ago logitech released v9.76 drivers through their website (not on their ftp yet though), and on a whim i decided to try them.

well eat my modem and call me a keyboard quaker if they don't actually turn the mx500 into a fully working high sensitivity gaming machine! i've only tested them on my xp machine (in q3, still need in_mouse -1, diablo 2, mechwarrior mercenaries and morrowind) but if there are any logitech faithful still left out there after the extended joke that were previous drivers i recommend them to try the latest ones.

as this column previously attracted lots of attention from annoyed logitech gamers i thought i'd keep the information up to date

oh, life? life's ok. learned a few new repitions of the theme that it doesn't matter how much you want it, or how good you feel before you try, *you can't push past barriers imposed on your energy by cfs*. cfs pushes back alot harder and it has many +to hit and +to wound modifiers. and because its linked to your body, the caffiene powerup just powers it up at the same time.

i've not played q3 in at least a month, probably more, haven't even played q3:urban terror. maybe i've finally got to the stage of feeling i've seen it all before, been there done that lost the t-shirt in a last minute quad rampage. i'll be attempting to take my gauntlet powered skills into the ts.tdm squad for some laughs this season of bwq3tdml though maybe i'll go back to playing on keys only just for the nostalgia factor.

is there a way to disable the slow or "negative" accelleration in these logitech drivers? I use windows default drivers for my logitech and I'm running w2k. I want to be able to use the Logitech drivers but once I do install them, it hurts my wrist to use. it moves fine if i move my cursor a long distance, but the less you move your cursor, the slower it moves. (reading more efficiently) but yet too slow for gaming. is there a way to disable it? or has Logitech confronted this issue? or is this the consequence of having 800dpi?
