reading over a few old quake posts last night, and comparing the quake community then to the one now, i notice a distinct lack of gandalf, suds, castortroy, hobbes, shinji and all the other fat useless moaning gimps that used to populate the quake boards and any other place they could find to put their grubby little holier-than-everyone pederast posts. in fact, the irish q3 community now, small and all as it is, completely fucking rocks compared to what it was before. people meet up and play pickup games and have a laugh, we have a league running with no arguments taking up four pages of a board (yet). if none of the above names means anything to you, then you are too new, and you have no concept of the suffering we had to put up with while people like these still liked quake. if you remember all the names up above, then i probably just made you get sick on your keyboard, and i apologise.
