M1ke Michael Breen posts : 288 i'm just going to write a quick note up here with my reasons for resigning from the irish ctf panel. it's a voluntary thing and it's for fun, but it requires hard work, practice and involvement in the squad. you can't really take it lightly you have to set out to play to the best of your abilities. afterall it's an irish team, we have to represent to the rest of europe and show that we're a capable nation with good lads that can beat the brits ... i mean play with the best of them - we've done this in the past and i know we're going to do this in the future. the reason i'm leaving the current incarnation of the irish ctf side is that, another member of the current panel (i won't name names) has decided to take another opportunity to insult me in a public place without warrant. this just gives us a bad name throughout the rest of europe, usually our flame wars take place here at www.quake.ie but other people like to go ruining irish quakes name in other places. so - you might call this an over reaction, but it's just the reason why i'm leaving. there is a lot more stuff i could be doing with my spare time, and i've been under a lot of pressure with work recently so my tolerance for this kind of stuff was low anyway. did i say quick note... opps anyhow, good luck to the ctf team i wish you guys the best in the euro ctf league.

"I have had enough arguments with m1ke in the past to know that hes a bit of an asshole imo (the feeling is mutual I'm sure, and it doesn't bother me). But the thing is, that is between me and m1ke, why do u insist on trying to make it a killy vs BiO thing? in the past, m1ke has attacked FH as opposed to me singularly, but more often than not, that was just to get a reaction out of myself, so its no big deal. I'm about halfway down that list of comments on Quakenation and I'm fit to puke. I'm afraid I think M1ke is dead right, we shouldnt be taking what little is left of Irish Quake out to the cleaners on Quakenation of all places. I posted to qnation for killy and canny to leave it out, hopefully it will end there. M1ke, listen, we have a shit enough team without one of the better panel members leaving, let kids slag away all they like, this team we have could do pretty well, just ignore the shite and play. Killy, if you are going to rise to someone, please dont do it on one of the main european sites, it makes us look like paddies with hurleys. Canny, u cunt, nobody likes a shit-stirrer. I shouldn't have responded to canny on QN, i should have left a non-FH person to tell him what a cunt he is and then there would have been no hassle, sorry about that z and MP, but if NI and Isle of man etc think we're in a shambles, it will be so much sweeter when we rape them m1ke - i still don't understand why u resigned... if its because of me taking what little is left of Irish Quake out to the cleaners on Quakenation, then i'm very sorry, it shouldn't have happened. if its because you're pissed off in general and want attention from MP and co, ala Eurocup 2, then grow up ffs. if its because u genuinely don't want to be on the same team as me then i don't mind quitting the team to let u back in.

In ireland were hated why i dont know but in UK were not. Talk to GZD, MR, LL, 4K or any of them teams. They will tell you. But what I'm more pissed of about is NOT that you put down BiO. Its that you put down probably the nicest guy in the quake3 scene. Canny. I'm not going to go into why hes a nice guy but people that have met him know exactly what I mean. The guy lives for quake3 and IRC but for his own reasons cant play q3. To be honest your acting like a prick at moment and if you dont drop it you will be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Like breaking up the national ctf team. So for the last time what ever your problem is with mike sort it out and leave the rest of BIO and its members out of it. Lastly grow the fuck up mate. You may be joking in some of your comments but its people like you that make the irish gaming scene a disaster. I still regard you as a mate offline but ffs mate drop the whole tit for tat shit. If FH had an image, it would be long gone thanks to canny and m1ke. For one thing, you're not hated in ireland. Talk to FH/nD/HAT and they will tell u, they might have a problem with 1 or 2 individuals, but they won't hate the clan because of it. you have always been absorbed by m1kes melodrama, you were most adamant in avoiding #quake.ie when bio distanced themselves from irish quake. no offense, but try and think for yourself more. Firstly, the irish ctf team is hardly broken up. if i'm responsible for m1ke quitting, then i've apologised for that, and offered to quit the team to let him take my place if hes not willing to be on the same team as me.
