| i just had to post a column to tell everyone about my incredible 2nd place finish at the official darkside lan 8 all ireland quakeworld all time champion of the universe duel competition (todsl8aiqatcotudc). a little history, there have been literally _no_ qw tournaments for a few years in ireland. players like melachi, vin, mp, jedi, myself and zero have always wondered who was top dog. even with all the hype vin didnt turn up, because he had an 18th to go to, and secretly, he knew he wasn't up to it. in the end , zero won. all hail the quakeworld champeeeen of the woild. for the prize he took home a very nice 5.1 creative speaker set.
