i know we've all seen the quake done quick divxs, but this is the most impressive one i've seen yet. in the words of the author:this is a speedrun through quake on nightmare skill, finishing in a time of 13:11 minutes. it also underwent a couple of adjustments in order to turn it into an adequate piece of "machinima", i.e. a software-rendered movie production. (now that's a term!)

contrary to the well-known qdq productions, this run is a solo effort, which entails particular advantages and disadvantages. it's about you to decide wether this is any good, or not

see it here. it's a 13mb download to download the pak version, but you can also get a plain divx version if you'd prefer. i'd upload it to quake.ie if i knew how...

If you want to signup anywhere, you should use a mailinator.com email address; very, very handy, no need to sign up for one or anything, it's just available immediately. it's a, eh, it's easier if you just read it yourself
