| it was great, you poor bastards who didn't get there missed a great time. as suspected, it all went off without a hitch. i don't know where to start so i'll write an enormous column that will bore everyone to tears. 22 hours a week of college, laff. thanks to everyone who made such an effort to make it happen, and come off so well.
went to zero's on the sunday, duelled a lot, home. went to zero's thursday, duelled a bit. woke up friday, duelled a bit, sat in the car while ronan did his organising thing with tables and keys and beer transportation and the likes, him operating his phone with no screen like some kind of telepathic blind guy in an automatic car from when they didn't put the year you bought it on the plate. eddie rockets isn't student friendly, went home, out on the piss, got wasted. good times. there was a guy with sandals on that looked like sam, rapp really really doesn't like cinnamon or nutmeg, the smoking ban is weird, mmorpgs are really really gay, pot kettle, black, there is actually a worse dump than my gaff, walked home, slept.
went to the lan, no hangover, got setup, lots of no shows, all of the sound people were there except for sonic and nexus who had an accident and i hope everyone is ok now. sam is a dick. played some games, played some warmup duels, thought i was ok, dest went and raped me, 61.8 rail, cunt. weird extra thick nerd sweat. then had mel for my first game in the compo, raped again. didnt play very many more duels. seeded ctf, grand job - rapp on my team, then dests team 1st game ctf2, enough said - but did 12k damage mid which was fun. hung around, then played some tdm for fh, dm7 and 6, was good craic. played well on dm6, relief. then qw came, had ppc then some azzarayala guy, way2ez, then ronan burst me but clucked it and i nearly had him but then didnt.
then n8z fh ctf. jap gardens 5 - 1 to them think fh defended wrong imo. bastards. was in for cp5, not saying they were muppets but they attacked all wrong. played ok, then 'final' on spiders, casc in for me, put 3 past them and was too hard for them to come back even tho they got 2 in the last minute. then didnt leech a load of music that i really wanted and then paddy dropped me home. was wandering around tripping on lack of sleep. i would like to point out that free beer is nice. slept some, then went to a christening, scaring all the it professionals and little children. the end. was a success in my view, dickheads not going might spoil it for the organisers.
