asked me for a game - and i saw bust so said no - this lead on to a infamous
chicken incident which i told him to put his money where his mouth is. sam wanted
in too - because he has a gambling problem

great to beat mixu just to shove his head in it, i honestly don't mind loosing
to sam

does remind me of a small rodent, why e4m7? whats your opinion of that map?

[bubbles`]> mixu was a prick 4 years ago,
and is still a prick now , well its an old tatic for me. normally in a duel
you play a standard map. if i lose i choose my map to be e4m7 - because its
big, most people don't know it - theres a quad run where you are quad non stop.
it also has a couple of other quirks i wish to remain silent about at this moment.
i've been beaten once on this level....

5am - i had 14 joints that night and it was the first time i opened quake in
a couple of years, first time playing it on dsl - config etc is all over the
place

beat sam on it, again. had everything sorted by that stage

[bubbles`]> its a level you don't need alot
of skill on

you havent played qw in ages, do you think you can reclaim your former skill
quickly? also how prepared are you for this duel?

[bubbles`]> a fairly level 2d map - thin corridors
(alot) and nice big open areas for some ra fun

[bubbles`]> prepaied? not at all! like i said
theres not alot of skill to this level, which is why i'm prepaired to play.
obviously i'm not in the same league as the other - but i believe in a fair
game of quake - not a game which is all respawn kills ala dm4 and dm6 - large
levels require strategy - which i have ample amount of from thr former golden
age of vanilla ctf

[bubbles`]> theres a fair chance both players
will meet up with equal weapons and sheild etc

that seems
to be the opposite of koopas experience where he has impeccable weapon and armour
timing such as dm4 and dm6 for instance. i had a quick run through the map which
can allow a fair amount of 'hiding' or 'running', i think koopa might play into
this and allow you to hold back tooled up and possibly hit him on the chase.
do you think mentally, you outskill koopa in that area?

[bubbles`]> no, koopa has obviously been prepairing
himself. my only chance would be a quad kill in a corridor. but there are other
aspects of this level, which can be used to a great advantage
