| they decided to release mp demo after. I guess they knew they were going ta have to do some heavy patchwork..
heres a mail a friend sent them
Sorry for the short answers, but I really need some sleep
Anyway:
1) There will be lots of fixes in 1.1, but if that doesn't help, we are ready to do completely new player movement code. The problem is that Havok works differently on different machines, and server needs to correct the client all the time. LAN games are all good, but with ping > 50 things are getting worse. Rest assured this the issue we treat very seriously, as I said, it may even end up with removal of Havok based movement and making our own from scratch. But I am still hoping there's a way to make the gameflow better without the revolution, patch 1.1 will be out soon. Many good things in it.
2) Sorry, no idea yet...
3) New map will be released with 1.1, and we're already working on the next map. Map making tool will be released soon, but I don't know the exact timing. Weeks, not months.
4) What will be better IMHO is that people play the game for some time (some people sent us list of requested changes in MP after 1 hour of play...) and then come back to us, or the forums, etc. Because we do listen, eg. in 1.1 rocket splash will be smaller.
5) Yes, we are fully devoted to the game and want to continue supporting it as long as possible. As for the public help, I hope things can get organized better, eg. through sites like yours or pkeuro.com. What I mean is that sometimes there are very interesting things people say on the forum, but going through 1000 messages takes time (that we don't have). If, on the other hand, people talk their ideas through and then come up with the consensus - and send us one "Community List of Demands" mail - it makes our life so much easier...

Hi Adrian,
I recently sent these questions to Brian, I am doing a review for ESR, maybe
it would be better if you answered them. Only if you have time of course .
Thank you
Sam
