people underestimated GOS because they had never won anything big in CTF before (except for opencup div1 the previous season?) but if you look at their players; the likes of doo and ironbyte both from EYE who were some of the best TDMers around last season, then you will see that they have the makings of a very good team. They were organised and played well - a heavy def weathering the storm when the enemy was attacking, quickly switching to a heavy attack when they saw their moment. This has always been the most effective way to play ctf in my opinion, just I never had the time and was never bothered to get it organised. Criticising GOS for this style of play is much worse than the teams that whined '4 def' at n8z. If you want to have a go at GOS, you might choose to target their use of ninja script that many people frown upon and call faggot tactics. I have never seen it in use and have never used it so I won't comment on that but I certainly wouldn't blame GOS for using good configs. Similarly, GOS cannot be blamed for the path that q3 ctf is taking, like GAA and soccer this season, based around the big strong lads, hard fought defensive play. This path had been set out long before by all the other top clans, just they werent as organised in switching from def to att as GOS.

mine - the powerups, but there isnt an excuse for a 20 min 4 man def. Spose gos winning that was like greece winning euro04 - complete horseshit that isnt good for the game.
