Bunny Dave Wilson posts : 148 i've been able to play q3 on modem thanks to saik. heres some stuff i didn't know. ch_crosshaircolor "0xfefefe" - changes your crosshair from a light greyish white to proper white. ch_drawspeed 1 - shows how fast you are actually going. cg_muzzleflash 0 - gets rid of that annoying muzzleflash when you have cg_drawgun set to 1. cg_ammocheck 1 - doesn't switch to weapons with no ammo when you run out of ammo with your current weapon. cg_deadbodyfilter 1 - gets rid of bodies lying around. cg_noprojectiletrail 1 - that obscuring smoketrail from rockets doesn't show up anymore. s_ambient 0 - gets rid of that annoying backround noise on levels (like tourney4) ch_weaponswitch 5 - puts all the weapons you have with ammo on the righthandside of the hud. cg_smoothclients 1 - your enemies don't jerk around, but move smoother. don't know if this affect pings or where they really are. more of these commands can be found in your osp/docs folder (osp-q3-clientreadme.txt) feel free to add any more.

I always use ch_drawspeed 2, which puts it in the center of the screen. Theres also a load of qizmo-like teamplay binds, that u should use for team games, like "Need Health (#H) / Armour (#A)" the # is used instead of % in qw.
