| tonight we play wales in our first game in the quakenation euroctf. we have played quite a few games, and however good or bad we are, i think as a team we function a lot better than we would have, say, a month ago. we played portugal there the other day, and whatever about beating them (blah they arent up to much), i noticed the team coming together a lot more, the attackers coordinating more like they should be, defence closing down invaders, and all the while us paying a lot more attention to the coach (and even the coach talks less bullshit and more relevant stuff now  ). we'll see how we do now against wales, i'm gonna be in here in this fuckin office from 5 til 9 playing, fuckit, it's an important game.
where i am going with this column is this : somebody explain to me properly how to rail on the net. this is something has been bugging the fuck out of me for a long time now, since i started playing on the net. myself and bunny used to play lan duels in the gaff, havent since xmas coz his machine is gone, but on lan anyway, obviously there is no problem. what i mean is i hit 45-50% rail on lan, but i hit 4 or 5 rails in a game on a 50 ping. fair enough i dont fire the gun as much on the 50ping now that i have no confidence in it, but what i mean is that the reason i miss them is some setting i have. i don't mind missing shots, blah we all do it, some more than others, but what i mean is that i have the crosshair on the guy, i fire, i miss. below is a screenshot of a game i played yesterday or the day before.
 that kinda explains the reverse of my problem, that there is a kill. i am firing the rail there, and the next frame has the guy dead. but i missed. at least according to my eyes i missed. now, simple question, when you lads are playing on the net, and you have your rail out, do you have to lead them all the time, guess where he's going to be? or will a simple timenudge do the trick?
