| next map was q3wcp5. i think n8z put sky on rail def and pyro on rocket defense so they had mel, zero and dard in attack which worked well. on the 6 minute mark mel opened the scoring for n8z with good support from zero and dard and despite fh chasing him the whole way up the map like a shower of mad people.
there were a few touches after that but all were returned, then in the 8th minute i attacked low up the back bouncepad while ch was coming in high so sky didn’t see me and i took him out with plasma ch got the n8z flag and we both headed out high, meanwhile over in our base mel took our flag with dard (managing to take out the better defender in giblet) in support and was trying to make good his escape when killy put paid to their plans and took them both out to return our flag. zero then made a last gasp dash with our flag but i railed the cunt in the back  returned and ch got a nice cap.
anyway the next cap was for the n8z boyz which i didn’t see much of but what i can gather from my demo is that zero got our flag and ch got n8z’s with support from killy and me but we ran straight into sky, pyro and mel on the way out high and sky took both me and ch out and mel returned but killy doubled back and took the n8z flag again, i can only assume that zero was making good progress towards n8z base at this stage, sky took killy out and returned once again and the big man ronan capped in 19 seconds. fuck sake!!! (i blame vin).
after this me killy and ch went into flat out attack mode for a while and got a good few touches but the defense was strong but killy got the the n8z flag and made to go low where zero killed him and pyro returned, but this left n8z exposed as they had no one high in the base and i was coming in high, i took the flag with no resistance and rj’d out and made it back to our flag spot only to find that our flag spot empty (mel had been up to his old tricks) when sky caught up with me and we both killed each other so killy was able to pick up the n8z flag. crossover !!
mel got an lg and stayed low in n8z base taking out everyting that came at him for the last 3 minutes of the map but with 15 seconds to go i got a lucky break and killed dard in a fight for ra, i had an lg and 70 armour and ran into n8z base low thinking i might have a chance, hoping ch (who had n8z flag by now) would be standing on our flag spot. zero and mel were low at the back of their base, i dodged a rocket from zero and took him out and had mel trapped in the corner in an lg fight only to find to my horror that my the lg ran out death buzzer defeat. 2-1 to n8z.
