so! big news is i have dsl at the family home, and a shit pc and it's the dogs bollocks for quake3. this means i can play at weekends and shit and got to play ctf for fh. it was my first time playing online ctf since last february i think and it was absolutely class. we played versus n2s who we always seem to be playing and it was fucking deadly! a little time away from the game puts the shine back into it big time, it was really intense. dsl seems deadly for duels too, people seem to have got a lot better, particularly benji and carl. (read: i'm gone to shit!) the only problem is that the pc is a pentium 3 500 with a 16mb and you really suffer when there's anything interesting going on, think is sortable.
in other news i have day and night access to a wireless connect and a savage pc, which does 50 ping solid, totally playable until it spikes, but it spikes regularly. might be able to sort the spikes with an ariel or something. too much stuff going on to play regularly tho! still, it's a welcome change from bots or not playing at all.
was a guy called cr33ch ever on the irish quake team? cos i'm certain he's too shit to have been.
3rd year is fucking gay.
mppaddy lan looks like it's going to be class, if i'm there i guarantee beatings. also, a small group of people in dit are getting into it, so quake isn't dead, they're all pretty shit though.
i'll be home playing games this weekend, dead!
