I play ET. Lacking, yes, more than other games, no. Its defo the type of game that could become the most popular soon. Not sure if this quake wars one will be the fo shizzle, concentrated gfx = shite gameplay usually.

i wouldnt really trust raven to produce a good multiplayer game. splash damage on the otherhand have proven themselves with the original ET so im more exited about quakewars myself.

just because rtcw'ers dont like it doesnt mean its not a good/popular game. it certainly seems to have attracted a number of q3 players.

know all about it dest, I was the first one who started playing it here (the et test). its good but ive always found it to be a bit lacking.

im not saying that ET was a brilliant game. what im saying is that raven have yet to produce a multiplayer title that anyone has bothered playing seriously. i understand theyre being guided by id but the same can be said for splash damage. given the choice between the two im more confident that splash damage will come up with something decent rather than raven.
