This game looks great and I think will meet pretty much all the expectations of the q3 community. The more I see those vids, the more I believe that D3 was purposely underdevelopped on the mp standpoint to leave a clear way to Q4. There was no need for id to shoot themselves in the foot ...

08/12/2005 23:15 #5 Dardoz Darren ut>q? clan : n8z posts : 164 looks really good with fat playing. like the hitsounds on the lg. the map they were playing looks kinda crap tho. i read somewhere they are doing conversions of dm6 and the edge from q2 for this. sounds good, but i hope they can come up with some inovative maps that make q4 more than just a q3 with better graphics and tweaked weapons

It's very difficult to determine the exact speed of the game under the environment in which we were shown Quake 4, but having watched some 1v1's and the fatal1ty shootout, I believe it's like Quake 3 with a Nitro Booster. My first impressions lead me to believe it will see some higher scoring games (imagine Quake 1 1v1's). rickardx
