we decided to have a 2v2, myself m1rv, simo, skelt. we didn't except to end up with a sore headache after it.

fh-pr3d and acid-robbo were duelling on vishnu.ign.ie , we came to the server, asked them was it ok if we changed to tdm. they said no, they wanted to duel. out of courtesy we left the server and tried the various other servers ; vishnu.ign.ie:26791 and games1.iol.ie . both were running the 1.27g patch so we couldn't use them. we then went to a foreign server but simo had trouble connecting, so we returned to vishnu.

when we returned, they were about to start their second duel. we callvoted the server into tdm. we warmed up, pr3d wouldn't let us start the match by sticking out on one team and then switching to the other - so we could never balance the teams out ... he continued to insult us and said he would keep trying to obstruct us from playing until we left. we then callvoted to kick him, we locked the teams, we got on with our game.

the custom with quake servers in ireland has been to wait for 2 people to finish their duel, and upon it ending everyone else on the server is allowed to have their turn. we waited while they dueled after they finished it was rightfully our turn and very arrogant of pred to think that he had the god given right to use the only quake3 server in ireland and make everyone else wait until he finished his second duel ... the popular vote won out and it was changed to team dm.

what if he wanted 3, 4, or 200 consecutive duels... should everyone in this country sit here and wait until he's finished ?

i could sit here and argue that the popular vote wins, and that i had a right to callvote it into team dm at any time i wanted without waiting for him to finish his duel - but the fact is i did wait for them to both finish their duel because it's common courtesy since we only had 1 server for out of the 3 million of us that play quake ! (that has since changed)

at no time did i use the rconpassword to kick pr3d, no rconpassword was set on the server... so it would have been impossible to do so.

at no time did the four of us insult pred ... quite the opposite, i don't have the server logs on hand but pred was abusive towards myself and m1rv on the server and in irc. so far the rest of fh have managed to respond with "asshole", "dickhead", "u smart little sh!t", "get bent" , "ure pathetic", "i would be delighted to "talk" to u. " lame, wanker etc.. etc.. sorry lads but those comments just reflect back on fh, and how sorry/bitter a group of players you've become. this is quite worrying to me as we don't have many clans left in ireland ... and you're displaying the characteristics of a clan.
