Im still waiting on a replacement hard drive from western digital. The cunts offer an advance RMA whereby they send you a new one before you return the old one as long as you guarantee it with a credit card, which I did, on the 28th september. Eight phone calls to their idiotic support team later and I finally discover that an oracle db upgrade went badly wrong on Sept 30th and theyve a huge backlog to get through and no way of tracking when shit is being sent out. ARGHGGHGHGHG.

First 5 mins I hated it, but when i got mels config and chaged it to 1024 res, it started to grow on me. Im not sure I like the movement too much, but maybe it just needs to be learned more. Running fast around corners doesnt seem too smooth, dont get me started on how annoying stopping when u r straffing up steps is. Anyway, The things that last in memory after 20 mins or so running around the maps playing no1...love the rocket launcher sound...weapon switch is way too slow, but maybe just different...the edge should have been left in the q2 archive, just doesnt seem fluid, mainly cos of all the steps u stop on on another note, theres a competition mod out over on the fnatic website...or esr. Its at the early stages

Edge is actually good, rail needs to be nerfed, way too easy to turn a game around just using it defensively. You have to play fairly smart to get back in control and the fragging seat. Basically you can run 3 sets of shards fairly safe and one set isa chancer/sneakygrab for 80 armour. Then yoUve just gotta find a way to get a potshot in and be able to aggro into a fair fight. potshot is important to hit though cause u need to take opponents extra armour off. I really like the map and im getting used to the movement so I bounce around like a castle.
