Havok Neil Morgan I am ur father posts : 81 alot of people, including myself have had problems with getting 1.27 working on there machines. if it happens to you heres what to do: it apears to be a few of the extra .pak file's some people have downloaded causing the problem. go into your baseq3 folder and remove all the files with the exeption of pak 0 to pak 4 and q3config.cfg. it should run ok now, any additional files that u need (e.g maps,models ect) add them in 1 by 1, checking that 1.27 still runs properly after each. bit annoying, but it works.
