x0n PROMODE i get pwned every day posts : 192 administrator ive donated to quake.ie! Decided to start learning promode yesterday, and I was curious as to the skill level out there so I joined a (seemingly) random cpma server and played someone called vamp1re. I then decided that cpma was not for me. I think the score was in the high seventies to minus something after 15 minutes. I then discovered that the guy is a promode legend. 14/12/2005 13:50 #14 sAid i have a large penis posts : 18 yeah id really love if more ppl played cpma because its a really good game and as most of ye come from a qw background yed probably be good at it....maybe someone should set up a server because i was thinking of maybe getting a channel on quakenet going for irish cpma...anyways join #CPMPICKUP on quakenet...the ppl in there are pretty sound and its the easiest way to get a hang of cpma (through playing the pickups)

Actually, I think theyre supposed to be (unless you read somewhere that theyre not), the organisers are probably just retarded when it comes to knowing peoples skill level. I was put in a high div because phil knows who I am from playing on american CA servers once in a blue moon. Why that makes me in any way good, I dont know. Its all just for show, though, everyone in that tourni knows that itll go down to maybe 5 players for the cash, the rest are just playing for the craic. Only thing Im interested in seeing is how fix sassa etc perform, but after seeing a CMF player go down (archi I think), Im not sure if they can compete with the ping. Also, I was talking to Dread while watching mIXus match (should have asked him about the divs, really.), hes from Ireland but living in Canada. The 2am matchtimes are gonna start hurting soon.

Not a pep talk, I shouldnt be 3 divisions higher than mIXu if its based on skill, doesnt take much cop on to realise that . The lower divisions have less well known players in general, but could just be coincidence. Doesnt really matter anyway, all that everyone wants to do is finish top 3 in their div, then itll all open up for the playoffs.
