The competition between Q4Max and x-battle might have been nice during the first weeks. But now I think its time to say: This is THE mod. I hate changing and acclimating with a new mod every 2nd week. In CB its Q4Max now, ESL (most popular league in germany) its still x-battle ... Every step the mods do causes a changing of mods in the leagues. How should we play at a constant and high level without a constant surrounding offered by the leagues we play in? Its very bad for ervery one playing quake that there is no unity of both teams. Together they would definitly make the ONE mod for every kind of tourney duel, TDM or CTF. But we have to live with 2 mods which are nearly the same but very different in detail ... both are aiming to make THE mod but only fight for their on standing in the scene ...
