So where are you all hiding Q3 Multiplayer servers

IrishRogue Stephen Bray posts : 5 Hi, just wondering where my fellow countrymen and women play Q3 ? Are there specific IP addresses to join in on or what is the criteria needed to take part? I also have Q4 but my personal opinion is that Q3 is far better, specifically in the playability factor. I wait in anticipation of combat

That is to say, there is no dedicated q3 server in Ireland to the best of my knowledge... IOL used to host one but the demand for that died last year. There is possibly a st0ner server courtesy of snowball hosted in Belfast but it may not be for public use and it may not ever be in use at all, and it may not even exist (and it may not even be in Belfast). Dont know what the story is with active q3 servers these days, but theyre probably uncommon.

Best bet for quake3 in Ireland is on irc.quakenet.eu.org in #quake.ie. Same for quakeworld, afaik theres usually a clanarena game on a UK server called Willow (I dont know the IP) and there are some Irish servers, but I dont know how active they are. Get The All Seeing Eye and scan for Irish and UK servers and youll see when people are playing.
