Hi lads,

Ive been looking for a low down of broadband providers vs pings to UK. Ive checked on boards.ie but cant find exacly what I need. Im on a search for the provider of the lowest pings to UK. This is all I know.

Clearwire (Wireless) ............. 40 - 200 (not contant)
Chorus (Cable).............. 50ping (contant when working properly)

Ive been a bit diappointed with Chorus. I persumed that it would have a sweet 30-40 ping to UK as I remember Zero had sweet ping in UK when he had NTL.

Ive also seen a few guys playing with 20pings on UIE UT servers with Esat. Are Eircom and Esat the best way to go for lowest pings.

Id be interested in what youve seen.

If u just want stable ping u have to go eircom, its teh win, i ping about 20-22 to jolt in dos and about 26 or so in q3, its loverly

thats because the both suck so very very much

get DSL youll do alot better
esat/BT are the best (even though eircon might be there)

Just on the Esat note.

Those that have the 1meg down load. Are find any problems with only 128k upload or do you think it would be safer to go with the 2meg down and 256 up??
