MindPhuck Eric Mooney Im drinking stuff donated to quake.ie clan : n8z posts : 1267 site owner as you already know, one of our favourite sites and gaming services, barrysworld, announced they were to cease operations at the end of this month. this is a massive blow to the european gaming community, not just for quake, but for other gamers like, counter-strike, half-life, planetarium, unreal tournament, tribes, elite force and many more. to top that, they provide site hosting, clan pages, league pages, bookable servers.. the list goes on! thats a huge amount of people who were all counting on the barrysworld servers and people to run their leagues. so what now? my thoughts go to the admins and real people who are employed by barrysworld, bigfoot, athena, ted the dog are a few names that come to mind. all these guys are going to be out of a job soon and we, the gamers, have alot to thank these people for.. so i'll say it now, thanks guys for everything and i wish you best of luck for the future.
