Lucutus Lucutus clan : the Irish Guard posts : 50 very sad news today as 4 year old barrysworld comes to a close due to lack of funding, as of the 31st of this month, barrysworld ceases to exist. heres a snippet : barrysworld are to cease all operations from 5 february 2001, and have already gone into voluntary liquidation. basically, we have run out of money and, with the current state of the market, have been unable to secure sufficient alternative funding/revenue. we are all devastated by this situation and despite our best efforts to secure some sort of deal to keep the business alive, we have been forced to pull the plug before someone pulls it for us. you can read ted's statement on the situation in this press release.
