a fine trashing, and no doubt about it. the team chosen was sky, jedi, koopa, m1ke and skelt. unfortunatly, skelt (our main attacker) never showed up and m1rv had to play in his place. overlord was coaching and m1rv dropped from the game and never return, thankfully, overlord was the only person on the server and could step in when m1rv dropped.



there was no scorebot or gtv and i couldn't get a connect to the server to watch, so reports of details will have to wait for a player to post up here or a couple of demos.


our next game is against wales in two weeks and i will be organising practices against countries in our group in order to win it. wales drew with scotland, (who we narrowly lost to last week), last night, so we have a *real* chance of beating them in 2 weeks time.


also, sky is dropping from all online q3 in around a week or so while he utilises the last year of university to actually get one of those degree things. so last night was the last game we have sky's excellent skills sitting on the flag. wp and thanks to sky, and gl in your exams.


the team for the wales game will be announced early next week and practices emailed to the squad and posted here.

I'd rather for get the game even happened tbh. Report.

Q3wctf3 - game1.
Played really well for for 6-7 mins but found next to near in possible to get haste at centre of base. We had one attacker M1rv who without RW microphone found it impossible to coordinate attacks. They eventually broke through our defences and got the first flag. When this happened we needed to through caution to the wind and go more offenive. We payed the price for doing this leaving Sky and koopa with an impossible job minding the flag. We could have sat in base for remainder of game and the scores would have been only 2-0 but we need to try and gain something from the game. Pld england.

Q3CTF3 - game 2
M1rv had to leave for some reason leaving us with 0 attackers. . and five very good defenders. We knew that on this level there was little chance of us gettgin a flag. Its one of those level where the first to score usually wins. We decided we'd try and grab some credit from our games by trying for the draw on this level and giving it our best on the final level. We play 3 mid myself on upper YA and sky in base. We played really well for 15-16 mins for the game holding a a very frustrated England to 0-0 with some very lame but usful taccies. With my RW coms i was able help Sky out alot at the flag. but our battle at mid field was being lost and England continously pushed us back into our flag area. One rush at power up on the 15th -16th min with 2 england with regens entered the base low followed by 2 other attackers. They were in and out of the base in less than 5-6 secs and the falg carrier just made it out to ruin our work on the level up to that. Again then in the last 3-4 mins we had to attack then and the defence fell apart meaning we lost 2 more flags. really wp ireland. We almost held them but nice play by england to grab the vital first flag.

q3wctf2 - game 2
This level is a defenders nightmare. Really wide open level with 3 entrances into flag and with haste on the level its so hard to defend against. 0 attackers in ireland squad. I did my best and got a the flag to mid and our base a few times just to get killed. nothing much i can say here really. Out classed. Ksy and koopa had a nightmare of a job. Wp england.
