if you're interested in squeezing the very last few frames out of that old tnt2, or perhaps you want to make the most of the gf2/ultra, you'll wanting to test out the latest drivers for your cards.

rather than continually post direct links to released drivers, i'll post some urls to where you'll find them yourself. if you're not feeling too crazy, stick to the whql certified drivers like 6.54 or 6.31. the 7.x series are the first to support dx8 t&l and the stereoscopic output feature.

those who feel that they have a good setup can depress themselves by trying to play a few bots on the nvidia themed demo level that i've recently added to the maps section on ftp.quake.ie. crank it up to 1600x1200x32 with full lod and sit back and watch those fps disappear into the void.
