i hav'nt been giving as good a report as i have in previous seasons, but with hand on heart, i'll try. i have given up playing q3 competitively (due to shit network code that has finally pissed me off too much) and i have begun honing my coaching skills. so, i'll put in a decent effort now



were into week 5 of the barrysworld tdm leagyes and things are starting to shape up. were getting to see how our clans are doing. bio are doing very well in division 1, sitting in second place. just below 4k. hat just snatched the 1st place spot in division 2 and fh are having a bad time in division 3. here's how the games played out this week on dm7 and dm14 -



bio - div : 81:90 | 55:89

hat - rw : 110:48 | 130:31

will you play again if the non-beta patch improves netcode? i have been playing with the new patch a lot in USA and it feels great to me... although that could also be because i have dsl

If 1.29 is playable, sure, i'll play it more. But something says, a little too late for most of the other people who have already moved away from q3 :/

I tried out the beta 1.29 and tbh it rocked. I use -20 timenudge in 1.27 and with same settings in 1.29 i didnt have to predict as much. Aim was very close to lan. Also the significant thing i noticed was that on a full team dm server i did not spike near as much as usual. Even in 4 man plasma fights my ping still remained under 100 where as it usually spiraled up with 140+. Railing was so much easier although shaft felt a bit funny. So over all it seemed a lot more stable and smoother to play on. I think clanbase still have the server if you want to check it out. I'll throw it up later if i can find it again.
