Zero Ronan Condon Absolute Fucking Champion clan : n8z posts : 816 site administrator irish ctf team, what is the story? for anyone who doesnt know, ireland lost to the scots yesterday, 3 games to nil. i started to make a point in the news comments section under the story but decided to put it here so it doesn't get lost in the torrent of muppetry that will no doubt follow it. but seeing the "irish team" lose when they shouldnt is extremely annoying. a few points : 1. bio-mike and bio-lucutus pick the irish team. 2. bio-mike picks himself onto the team. 3. the team that played last night against scotland were 5 bio players. 4. the team that played last night was not the best 5 online players that could have played. whoever responds to this, dont try and say they are not all bio players like u did yesterday. jedi plays for bio, m1rv plays for bio, m1ke and simo play for bio, sky plays for bio (eurocup - 12 ping- ring a bell?). also, don't throw the "tdm is way too different from ctf" at me either, it's amazing how someone plays it for a few months and thinks they are a ctf guru, we all know how to play ctf, and i guarantee even rusty devore knows more about ctf than any of the 5 on that team last night. basically m1ke shouldnt be picking the team if he's a player. if they want the team to be properly regarded as an irish team, they should try and either get a few more selectors or pick a team that's obviously the best.

This is an international competition. You need to get the skilled players like Koopa if ye want to win matches. I know he hasn't been around lately, but the fact that he was named as a sub just ties a knot in it. Lucutus - u say its unfair to single out a player, but imo that has to be done. The team is representing Ireland, if we doubt someones ability to compete at this level then we should say so.

"YOU FKING SORT IT THEN ZERO OK?" eh, I could sort it out, and I have well fuckin shown I can run an Irish team, but this is Lucutus's baby, at least it's sposed to be. Maybe if Koopa/Overlord/anybody on the panel thought enough of the competition they would turn up every night training, maybe if they thought they had a chance of getting on the team ahead of a BIO player they would turn up. Why would players turn up when the team is declared in the news during the day?

Why is the current no 1 CTF clan in Europe (pretty much) IQS not some l33t tdm clan? [xyxyxy] "knows more about CTF than any of the 5 on that team last night." I've played q3ctf in division 1 since the day the leagues started for it. Q3CTF isn't like q2ctf or qwctf - grapple anyone? Tactics aren't really that similar (3w2 jumps anyone?) I mean, your opinion, whatever. Who would you have picked then? If you're that annoyed about the team, get involved.
