i want to run a survey here on what type of mouse you people use. the reason for this, is partly to know which is the current most popular mouse, and partly because i own a logitech mouseman wheel, which is nearing the end of it's days, and to my disgust i see that they have been discontinued by logitech in favour of the cordless and optical versions, which, imho are the gamer's antichrist.

so what mouse to buy? stick a comment down, 1 comment telling your mouse type, no discussions or they'll be removed, we just want a tally.

edit: since writing this piece this morning, i have since found a site here that still sells the good mouseman wheel, and the pilot wheelmouse here on this dodgy german site.

I find this great - even keeps up with flick shots, and accurate as hell.

zero, the mouse that you have that is no longer available is also my favourite mouse, i have used them on a couple of different occasions but haven't been able to buy one of my own. I use a corded Logitech Pilot with wheel also which does the trick nicly and is much nicer and lighter than my old intellimouse

Really nice - can get confused sometimes if I'm flicking quite a bit.

I just don't like Logitech - dunno why, but I prefer the feel of MS mice.

Best mouse I ever had was a MS Intellimouse ps2 w/wheel, 4 years old and doesn't click anymore. Weighed a TON. Damn, it was good.
*sniff*

I Haven't tried a logi, using a laem MS Intellimouse now.

I'm using a razer 2k, however I'm getting very pissed off with it. It sticks frequently, making ordinary windows use difficult, let alone quake. It is excellent in quake though, when it decides not to stick, very accurate and comfortable. I may just go back to my logitech pilot, which is a little bit wrecked...

This mouse works great for Quake, very smooth and accurate. I've had this for about a year.
