Bunny Dave Wilson posts : 148 well, the first promode movie is out, all 90 megs of it. its just trickjumps and i haven't seen the thing yet but heres what the fanclub had to say: this is one great movie! if you ever thought that all of q3 is slow then you'll be proven wrong when you watch this, these 2 guys get some amazing speed goin and do some awesome tricks, get it and you wont be disappointed! gj shambler and crew. [edit - zero] i have put up a local copy of it here. it's v good, definitely worth havin a look.

22/11/2001 #6 Illkillya James Galvin Entering a world of pain clan : fish heads posts : 892 site administrator ive donated to quake.ie! i think its called... its a map designed for trick jumpers, where you can do a load of cool tricks all over the place, but i couldn't since i couldn't even get started, stuck on the platforms which u use to build up speed it was on xsreality with some good demos by Camping Gaz i think it was, but xsr gone now :/

25/11/2001 #7 Osiris Phill Kerins posts : 72 killy, always used to die at the rocket jumping section ... plasma jumps were takin too much health off me I think:/ (Hint: Try and take those 1st few jumps diagonally across rather than straight, top get enough distance, you will need the full width of those platforms, ie jump from left to centre to right)

27/11/2001 #9 Sky Rick Walker posts : 90 Nah, no ramps in that. tbh, I think the first few jumps are the hardest, there's more slack on the others. imo you're better off learning the normal q3 jumps rather than those anyway (bridge/rail/bridge, cpm4 ra jump etc) if you've got the time. Of course, if you're really into your trick jumping you should try the clanbase quickcap league.
