06/02/2002 #4 psyk colin cullinan posts : 16 ...which is kinda why I asked about the 4k iorn thang, have they employed the classic cell division and multiply trick, extra clan from no where, possibly stealing a playoff place from bio? i just dont understand

They may have lost kilem/mist/gun but they have litzter and miso now as well as vertex and a few other clowns they had from before. Either way they still have to play a qualifying match to get in. Kinda sux the way Ireland was overlooked considering a lot of bio is actually on fairly decent(er) connections now

06/02/2002 #6 M1ke Michael Breen posts : 288 bigfoot summed it up pretty well here : and perhaps for BiO (who could feel hard done by that D&M get in ahead of them, or the 2nd Italian side considering their relatively poor record in EC4). well as far as I know they select a certain amount of clans from each country. So they selected 1 from the UK, and 4 clans have to play off vs eachother to decide the other two. As for Ireland, obviously in CB's opinion we're not of the quality to enter it(they've slimmed down since ec3 and most smaller nations are not included now). I don't think they looked at our application in enough detail to be honest.... otherwise they would have noticed our record in division1 bwdml to date and noticed that we deserve a place in there. We're better then certain clans there, i'm not naming names it's lame but i'm saying WE ARE OF the standard. I believe we deserve a place.... certain countries had more then their fare share of entries and I believe at least 3 countries from what i know had a clan get in that were of our standard but maybe it's because prehaps our entry was uncontested by another irish clan... it's hard to know really ..... it's hard to guess why we weren't selected although there must be a valid reason and i'm not going to snuff CB if a valid reason is presented, i'd like to hear from godsmurf to see the reason we didn't get selected so we know what is expected next time round. I'd hate to think that our application wasn't looked at in close enough detail.
