"whats the point of having a team uf two unbeatable players, i could name a few, this is about fun this time not skillz " you just contradicted yourself there... if you can name a few teams of 'unbeatable players', then when those teams of unbeatable players clash against each other, who wins? you could do seedings, match no.1 with no.16, no.2 with no.15, etc, but how would you get the seedings originally... a ffa? but then ffa skills dont mean 2v2 skills.. but I think it would be close enough. as long as you dont get some sad bastards deliberately coming last in the ffa so they can get matched up with the no.1
