21/09/2004 20:00 #23 anonymous a lot of irish don't really give a fuck,i used to because the english have done a lot of bad shit over.i have english friends and a brother that lives over there,but when i hear somebody try to say that we are english,and when i here an english person ask me why people starved when when the potato famine was going full steam ahead i get very pissed off,because the fact of the matter is that the only reason the irish starved is because the english took all the other good food at gun point and fed there own people with it and fed there soldiers with it,after the famine had ended the population of ireland had halved,it was only when the rest of the world started to hear what was going on that the english backed off and started to cover it up,some called it an attempt to exterminate the irish,and as for when the irish decided they had enough an decided to fight back they where all called terrorists and murder's,the strong hate for the english in ireland is still very fresh for a lot of people for the english paratrooper's were still shooting innocent people in the streets of derry only 30 years ago have a reda up on "bloody sunday" some say the divil is dead
