there is a very interesting interview with sujoy over on esreality. he talks about how he came to be where he is and where things are going.


here's a quick snip to get you interested...

when i returned to university in october with my room plugged straight into the leased line, i ended up playing practically all the time. it was such a buzz back then, everything was new and the people were always friendly. i’d be playing and chatting to these guys all night and skipping lectures the next day.



i think most of the oldies here can't argue that those truly were the days. i know i'd do anything to be back in university playing 24/7.

An irish player going through would mean one of you'd need to beat blokey

I'm gonna head off there anyway tho, looks like it could be a fun w/e, and it's not that far for me.

An irish player can attend the qualifier but as sky said that player will have to beat Blokey which i cant see happening tbh.

DNC went over to UK to try get there spot in the Counterstike. They beat all uk teams but got beaten by some scandinavian team who had same idea as DNC, (e.g lets go to UK it will be easy qualify there.)

So chances are you'll get a number of nationalities will competing in UK for that WCG spot.

Friday 4 October - Quake 3: Arena

That give the person or persons over a month to practice. If they got there act together a got some serious lanning going then you never know.
