one of the big things in the whole online gaming scene is loyalty, actually i think it's one of the main reasons for many rows and controversies.
for example a player leaving one team and going to another can cause a lot of shite, or if someone thinks their team is getting the short end of the stick, they can get really pissed off, and rather than being a personal thing, it's more their pride in their team that causes people to get their backs up about stuff.
despite having a reputation for a mouth, and a "way of putting stuff", i have to quote ndoverlord for the best example of what happens when somebody fucks over your team : "if any1 tries to steal anymore of our players or pull anymore crap, i will personally find you and fucking rip out your mothers intestines in front of your teenage sister's new-born bastard child. am i makin myself clear gi?"
the reason i am writing this at all, (and badly at that, tryin to get it done before i run off for lunch in two minutes), is because it has come to light that a person on the irish ctf team has decided to leave the team because of his fear of how badly we are going to lose our games. we are a team of people that do our best, we can only be as good as we are, and even people with vicious issues with each other like m1ke and killy have put it all aside for the sake of the team. on the day we will do our best and if we lose, fuck it, we'll do better next time. now that is loyalty. someone quitting a team because he thinks it will affect his supposed reputation, that's a different thing, i think its sad and the guy shouldn't and probably won't be considered for any future teams that people go to a lot of trouble to organise. ironic that in the end of the day, the guy is adding to his current reputation as a clan-hopper.

yoink.

I don't know what to say about this but.... infact I think it's probably a blessing in disguise.

imo it's better to be without people like you describe then with them, no matter how good or bad they are.... they'll always contribute to the team one way : negatively

To be honest, I can't be fucking arse with Kazz and that patethic attitude. Your right, He will never be on another Irish team again. His contribution to the team is and will allways remain a me, me, me issue.

just like to say i do admit to having a rep as a clan-hopper but it does not mean i am 1 anymore. Also i don't care if i ain't in the irish team ever again... I've been in it twice and it was the same shit again and again with peeps not showing for praccies.. and the same 4 peeps showed for games 1 of them being me.. and i know m1ke and Ol had probs but the rest did not, yet they still did not show. So as far as i'm concerned its not worth the hours I put in. I could be putting them into my own team like I am doing now.

deserting his country in times of hardship, on the basis it will keep his "reputation" clean? sounds like a lose-lose situation to me.

smile at what? if there was a full show for the team and MP had to pick 3 attackers I can see 3 that would easily be in there ahead of you. so smile away. or fuck off back to britain, whichever u prefer.

Zero that your opinion and it shows u know fuck all about CTF. Also what the hell is someone going to say/do to me at Insomnia eric lol, i'd like to see that happen. Also Crus my rep ain't "clean"... this situation has only arisen because of the lack of fucking time and effort most of the irish team did not put in so i think i'd rather put the Hours into something that might be worth it. I've been in the IE team twice now and the same shit happened twice so why the fuck would i want to ever be in an Irish team again. Anyway i can't be arsed with this, gl in euroctf.

Well, KaZz looks like a prime tit. Is he english by anychance?

Ahh this brings back memorys to that event in the UK a few years ago. Ireland v's England in qw, and of course the Irish team where the underdogs.
Game one: We hammered the brits - that scared them
Game two: They hammered us - was looking bad....
Game three - decider. We beat them by one frag! m33p m33p m33p !!!! classic moment, must have rocked for those over there and those playing.
Never under estimate the Irish, we have a habbit taking shit for a while, then coming back a hundred fold, to kick some english ass.

wtf are u talking about? things were going very well, ppl were putting a lot of effort in, to me it sounds like you're making excuses for yourself. Last season, there might have been a bit of a problem wtih commitment, but this season with MP in charge there has been nothing like that. MP has been at every training AND putting in the hours. I know me, Lorc, Vin and dest have been also.
sky likewise has showed great commitment and dedication. Simo and m1ke, aside from getting practise in with BiO have also shown for a load of games and help with sorting tactics. Zero has been staying after hours at work until very late playing to play CTF, so who exactly is not making an input?? We've had a team for every training so far, and we seem to be just as active as a team as any of the other 5 nations.

If ure scared of getting raped in euroctf, don't go making excuses like "lack of commitment on behalf of the other players". it is totally a lack of loyalty, characteristic of a clan hopper.

Wait till I explain a little something to you Kazz.

You have done nothing but complain. Even when the damn stupid bot doesn’t op you, you complain and moan. When you’re asked to spectate in practice games and give other people a chance, you complain and private message me after saying how crap your replacement was. You have amazing aspirations about your 'brilliance' as an attacker.
Stop. Wake up and smell the coffee. I can put any member of this team in your place and with a little practice (god knows they don’t need a lot), they can easily replace your 'brilliance' as an attacker, so don't have any further illusions about 'oh, how the team is going to get raped, because your not playing'. We'll get raped, but we'll happily do it without you and be proud of our achievements.

Don't even try and compare the last EuroCup with this one. I wasn’t in charge of it last time round. And as everyone will tell you on the team, there is a damn difference in trailing, organisation and practice when I run a team to any other team you may have participated in. (which you should know, as you’ve been in a fair few teams). I have guaranteed at least 3 games per week (sometimes we have played 5 or more). This is a fact. The other times when were not practicing, I would expect players would dedicate those nights to their own clan and maybe real life stuff like exams and wife’s/girlfriends. Not everyone can be on-line all the time and people can’t expect practice games every night.

I have done everything possible to organise this team correctly and all you have done is slapped not just the Irish Team, but every Irish Player in the face. We don't need your selfishness or your accompanied bullshit. You are not welcome in the Irish community. Oh and another thing, I would have no difficulty coming up to you at any LAN and explaining to your face what a twat you are. Don’t have any doubts about that.

I think the deciding factor in how well we do in euroctf will be how good the irish connections are, esp vs the broadband teams of other countries.

We're not really lacking practice, we're lacking the connections to do ourselves justice.

Except for me anyway, I just suck
