dear eric mooney...i'm writing in regards to your domain room101.co.uk.
sombody at this company had placed your stats link on one of the web
sites designed by my company. this is piracy and hacking and should be
reported. i let it go this time but if it happened again i will take
appropriate actions against you.

for the love of god!! - anyway, a few things to point out - the guy claims to be from best-web-solutions.com though his email is hloref@cox.net. so, what do i do, i mail him back and his 'company'.

i'm rather surprised i have received your email. i think your very mistaken. i believe the site i run is www.room101.org.
the site has been completely and utterly written by myself and has no other links to any other company which do not already have expressed permission. what are you talking about that someone has 'placed your stats'? can you explain?. if you can provide some information that something from my site has be taking from one of your developed sites i will remove it and you have my apologies.
however, i don't believe this is the case. please don't ever mail me again with accusations of hacking and piracy. go look up the term hacking please you will find that if a user puts a link to another site it does not come under the term of 'hacking or piracy'. if you made use of your time which you used to write that email you could have spent it getting your facts straight and got at least the domain correct.
