I AM GOD posts : 148 lans : 4 administrator dklan for example had 0 who could sign up here. i.e. you are not going to let them sign up then you are going to be deleted dklan really brought my attention by the fact he had feck all on that. really pissed me off :/ like if he had done a good little piece for the lan then i would have let him. but what does he care he has another site.

The least you could have done before deleting it and posting this up was to email me and I could have ammended the comment. To be clear the LAN is almost full. We have just coded our own version of the service this site provide because we felt the need for additional functionlaity and wanted a functioning gallery. I find it slightly strange that you deleted it and put this comment here, do you have a problem with event organisers having thier own sites? If not then what way should they advertise their events here?

I've tried in the past to post a "World News" item or something similar ie. when I wanted to advertisie an upcoming LAN, but wasn't ready to take sign-ups yet, but each time it came up as an actual LAN post. I just tried posting a "World News" there, assuming that it would be a news item (not a lan) and would be world-viewable. If someone wants to forward me a list of each of the post categories and what they are for, I'll happily write up some documentation for the site.

There are two selections, LAN and Post plain and simply please OH PLEASE... stop your moaning(Tyax) ffs. you didn't have a big Lan in bright colouts ffs you had a total of 3 lines, YES 3 lines plus Alienware sponsership pic. now instead of whining. I've seen the DKLan site not particuler exciting or anything else. Look I said this before most of the time we will probably let it go by BUT we wouldn't overlook that 3-lines, that doesn't have anything such as what's on where it is on, or frankly what times it is on.

The ONLY person allowed to do that is myself unless you have a very valid reason. LK, You may be an admin, but deleting posts is most certainly not the viewpoint of myself or of this site. I don't mind Lans posting and hosting their own sign ups as long as it doesnt become a spammage site. I check in on the site most days and saw that DK Lan had their own sign up pages. So do other LANs. If other LANs want to host their own sign-ups, then sure off you go, but be mindfull that your posts a not considered spammage. As for you Tyax, the gallery is going to get fixed on moving hosts. Which is probably going to happen very soon. What other features do you not have here ? In your own words 'The least you could have done before 'putting in signup features' was to email me and I could have ammended the 'site'. The door swings both ways. As for posting non lan articles, when you click 'post' you will notice there are two links 'post a lan' and 'post other documents'.. Give it a shot Now, can we all chill out a bit please.

I've said before, ages ago methinks, that the gallery think doesn't work. Deleting posts is never on, its bad bad bad. All people think is power hungry admin (LordKhan). afaik the dklan site is beta and the completed version looks fairly good for a first webby by tyax. I'm from galway and the only lan in my area is galwaylan. The only place I find out about lans is here. I don't care if I have to go to another website to sign up or here. Makes no odds to me. Now I can't remember if the DKLAN post had a link or not as I knew the site anyway. I'd like to say to MindPhuck, that I think this site is an amazing contribution to my lanning passtime. I'll buy u a pint whenever I see u. /me is chilled out! Rory
