bAz bAz hurray for chess(e) posts : 288 recently announced here . anyone going for captain ? i’d be willing to do it, or at least help out. lets put the effort in now, and leave what happened in the past, in the past, and give the best of the irish a chance to show what they’re capable of.

I would have liked to see MP cap, or Zero too, but with both offline thats not the best option. Anyone else feel up to it? dest/sky/spectator etc.? I wouldn't like to see baz or benji as captain but thats just my personal opinion.

And no need to hop on the defensive benji, although it might be worth noting that you were a keyboarder struggling to get GTV working while I captained 3 successful nations cup teams. There was good reason to pull out of the last cup before the it started, and since I had a replacement lined up in Croatia, the cup admins agreed that there would be no disruption by cancelling our signup. I will keep my reasons for thinking that baz and benji would be unsuitable as captains to myself unless this thread ascends into a debate/descends into muppety spam.

If the team is better off without my help, fine, I can still offer a server / war bot and anything else thats needed. Times ticking, the sooner we get trials/praccys/players etc. the better, of course having a captain and officially entering would be a nice start.

Now, baz and benji, the reason why your hitting brick walls is that people are unsure of how you will run a team as you both blatantly lack experience of running clans, leagues, cups, competitions, etc, never mind the captaincy of our beloved nation. Im not sayin thats essential, but it helps if you want people to trust that you know what your doing. I don't think people personally have any problems with ya (or maybe they have?), but if you need to stand up and be counted, then stand up and be counted and post exactly what you would do. Name your top 10 team? show people that you have confidence in what you would choose and the reasons behind it ?
