bAz bAz hurray for chess(e) posts : 288 recently announced here . anyone going for captain ? i’d be willing to do it, or at least help out. lets put the effort in now, and leave what happened in the past, in the past, and give the best of the irish a chance to show what they’re capable of.

I see no reason why benji wouldn't make a great captain, and as for kazz, saying you wouldnt play depending on who the captain is, well its not surprising, but more saddening. Eric, with all due repect, myself and benji are fairly active in the ctf scene, and as such have a good insight into who should be considered for the CTF team. I propsed something along the lines of killy/me/zero, but see no reason why this couldn't be a combination of MP/benji/dest or whatever.

Some people dont have a home connection or any connection at all for that matter. 19/10/2004 18:28 #60 CH Mr. CH bite my shiny metal ass! clan : fish heads posts : 98 honestly, i think the idea of shared captaincy wont work. better to have one clear leader with ideas, rather than a few with differing ideas. you know there'll be quarrels otherwise. after that, i'd suggest you go with the most experienced lad… and in my opinion that's mp. he's been around the block (many times), he knows his stuff, and everyone knows & respects him. it's up to you lot to prove to him that it's worth his time & effort. no disrespect to any of the others that have suggested their name for it, i'm sure that you would do your best, and have a lot to offer… but mp can do better and has more offer. as for the rest of you from quake.ie who wont be on the team, when the captain and team is picked, they will need ppl to practice against, a server to play on etc. so help out! <./levelheaded> (im back to stirring shit)
