BioHazRd Richard Smith I stole Mindphucks Donkey posts : 209 lans : 18 site administrator darkside vii will be happening on october 3/4/5. it will be 36 hours of mental fun starting at 10pm friday and finishing 10am sunday. this lan will have a capacity of 70 people. there will be a number of competitions throughout the lan, and there will be prizes on offer. the highlight of the competitions will be a 4v4 q3 ctf tournament on saturday night. as usual we will have a number of dedicated servers and a nice switched network. this time we will also be implementing our new intranet software, and competition signups and tournament ladders will be handled by this. all the usual games will feature - and maybe a couple of unusual ones too. more details can be got at the website darksidelan.com or you can get us on irc quakenet #darkside.ie lan dates : 03/10/2003 to 05/10/2003 24 hour lan lan address : Panama Scout Hall Phibsborough Dublin cost details : €30 alcholol? : no net connect? : no age limit : none attending : 73 of 73

The numbers are down 'cos your simply lazy. You people who said were going, you gave their word to go. You didn't go. Now, im sure some of you have a damn good reason, but im also sure some of you dont and the fact that their might be another lan in Jan doesnt take away from your commitment to the one you were currently signed up for. Either go to that lan or don't, but dont let people think you are going as they are dependant on those numbers. If you had to pre-pay before hand you can be sure you would have went, which is something that might happen in the future for the persistant no-shows. Richard offered to put up a quake only lan. Based on the numbers that said they were going, I cannot see BioHazrd running a quakeonly lan if thats the response hes going to get. Played lads. Anyway, you missed a fucking excllent lan.
