deathcon 2

the second death convention will be a 2 day event (2 x 12hours), hosted in dublin’s temple bar.

deathcon 2 will be bigger better and longer.
it is a 2 day event running for 12 hours on each day. there will be a large spectrum of games played and a number of competitions. (with mystery prizes. for more information visit the official forum by clicking

I had my doubts going into that room with the gynormous glass table, but its all about the fun of wondering "why the hell does my flicker so?", that make lans great, and judging by the pesamistic forecast by n1ck, I'd imagine the force to be strong in this lan, ergo I don't have a hope in middle hell of doing well in any comp. But it'll be fun in that wobbly tabled boardroom, and I can't wait. SparX

The tables werent wobbly at all the flickering was because i didnt have the refresh rate on my monitor up high enough........ And i see all the prize whores are back for another one.

Jazz added wookie once... Wookie signed up on his own later, with his diff account BTW u can rename ur accounts, maybe nick u should rename to -=tfi=- nick like Hellraiser did and Wookie can rename his other account to -=TFI=- etc.

Hey all. In the interest of getting things to run smoothly and to maximise our playing time I have put together a timetable of games. Obviously we don’t have to stick to this too rigidly but it will serve as a guideline towards what we will be playing. Day 1 9.00 to 10.00 Set up 10.00 to 11.30 BF1942 11.30 to 12.30 DF-BHD 12.30 to 1.00 Lunch 1.00 to 2.00 DoD 2.00 to 4.00 BF-DC Dogfight Compo 4.00 to 5.30 *groop choice* 5.30 to 6.00 Dinner 6.00 to 9.00 C&C Compo Day 2 9.00 to 11.30 BF1942 11.30 to 12.30 Raven Shield 12.30 to 1.00 Lunch 1.00 to 2.00 DoD 2.00 to 4.00 Xbox Dead or Alive Compo 4.00 to 5.30 *groop choice* 5.30 to 6.00 Dinner 6.00 to 9.00 BF1942 Please try and have as many of these games as possible installed on your machines before the LAN to reduce set up time and maximise playing time. **NB we will be playing version 1.0.0 of DF-BHD as some people had problems connecting to the patched version. If you have patched your version please re-install it. I will provide multiple copies on the day for people who don’t have it.
