ennis lan i, saturday night 26th of july from 8pm to 10am. taking place in a new cafe,
100mbit network on a 1 meg eircom dsl line.
iv capped the list at 20 as it will make it better for everyone as it wont be cramped..

you can bring your own pc, or use one of the in-house pc's (~500mhz -> ~800mhz) but i'd suggest ye bring your own hdd and graphics card (mouse and keyboard if your picky). 17" monitors are supplied.

the cafe is 5 mins walk from the bus/train station and 2 minutes from the town centre.

games played at the lan will include q1, q3, cs, dod, ut, bf1942, dc, sof2, ss2 and whatever else ye want. we'll try organise a few competitions in the more popular games.

i was talking to geo the other night, he said serial and himself would most likely go. he hasnt signed up yet, but ill get him to next time i see him. There are two more people attending, they just havent signed up (ed and a sekrit p3rs0n). As for the others... Cartman = Quake 1 & 3, CS, he'll probably play all the other games too

Rapier = Quake 1 & 3.. Dunno what other games really. PPC = Quake 3(?), CS. GUI_XP = dont have a clue but i think a bit of quake here and there. conZ = Q1 & 3 (i must start

i'm a 56k'er myself so i'm going to be badly out of practice on most games... quake 1 + 3, cs (i'm crap at it, but i'll give it a lash), soldat, sofII... original half-life dm would be where my skills some into play. a coop game of serious sam 2 is normally fairly entertaining & jedi knight 2 can be a blast. i'll prolly challenge joo all to a game of worms wp if i get drunk enough

Yep. Mice and Keyboards at the cafe. No need to bring cable, Edchomadman has it all networked

But im sure he wouldnt mind a few donations (spare PC parts/money/etc) After all, he is gonna have to network a few extra points, get a second switch, probably kick out a couple of customers at nighttime, and ban them from entering in the morning

He's also gonna rip apart a few of the house PC's to beef up the Rental PC's. (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR RENTAL PC BOOKED WHEN SIGNING UP!!!)
