Get a blank piece of paper and write the number "16" on it really big...and "Very Legal ID Card" onto it Then you need to get a laminater and using this you "laminate" the paper making it into an ID. Then when you are asked to show your ID you slip them a 20 euro note and they will automatically see that it is in top notch letting you walk by with no hassle at all

Finally im giving somebody advice, you can get a garda id at any age just go up with ur parents if ur under 16 bring a birth cert which u alrdy have to have and ur mam and dad will have it and then they will get u a garda id and it will be posted out to u....

there has never been a need for an age limit but after the last lan Syx felt it was neccessary to introduce one. organiser's decision is final i guess, no exceptions

We've had age-limits at past lans, it may actually have to 18+ at the next one. If you ARE 16 OR OVER you can attend this lan. If not, don't show up because you won't be allowed in and you won't get a refund.

hey timeout, don't pay into the bank. I know that you are on the attendees list; Being on the attendees list does not guarantee you a place, but if a slot becomes availible you can pay into the bank then and not before. Since I know you you will not have to pay the extra money if it happens that you arrive and there is a place for you (which I'm not guaranteeing) - Does that sound fair?

s0l on the list has lead to the downfall of darkside LAN and imo should be banned from this one. we have biohazard at galway lans and he seems like a nice fellow and for people to do that is just not on. for more on this http://www.room101.org/comments.asp?item=312

You make it sound like s0l, and s0l alone led to "the downfall of darkside LAN", there are 21 other ppl on the list(RazielDoomgate included, also on GLXV list). And while non-attendance seems to have killed darkside LAN, i think GLAN proves that pre-payment solves that problem pretty damn good!

how hard is it to remove your name from an attending list? how hard is it to say even 2/3 days before a lan that you cant go? as for pre-pay, at least one person wont pay by bank and will pay by cash at the lan. who knows maybe they wont bother showing up since they didnt prepay

anyway, prepay is not that hard.

As for Razel|doomgate, no appology for darkside given... whats the story? If you don't prepay, you cannot attend
