Irelands first College intervarsity LAN Party, InterLAN, is taking place one the 26/27 of November for 24 hours and 150 places!

We highly encourage you to approach your college’s gaming or networking society to blackmail them into buying tickets in bulk and coming to this en masse. For bulk tickets contact interlan@netsoc.dit.ie


Requirements:

• Your Computer and everything needed to play network games
• 4-way gang adapter/power strip
• 10/100 Network card
• Headphones
• Money for food, drink
• Drivers + Games + Apps cds, OS and Antivirus (UP TO DATE!!!)
• Transportation.
• Tissues incase you lose!

Transport

It has 1 direct bus (123) that leaves you outside the door and about 8 buses right beside it (60 seconds walk), the dart is close by and a car park for roughly 50/60 cars!


Other facilities

Also include a chipper/Chinese/pub right across the road and open till at least 1:30am! There is also a Centra left across the road which is open till 10pm and a spar which varies in closing time from 12am to 2-3am. Apache pizza and Dominos close by too!

cost details :
Tickets are €15 each (on the door) and just €10 for students up to one week beforehand. Tickets are available from the SU shops in DIT Aungier St, Kevin St and Bolton Street. We will also be going to colleges around Dublin on various dates to promote and sell tickets.

Only chance DIT kevin street would have a chance is if the likes of Koppa joined in.

I think it should be UT2004 or CS1.6 that should be college specific competition or BF2...

does anyone know if CPMA will be played with Quake3. Also theres ment to be a few tournaments going on, for example will there be a 5X5 quake3 CTF using OSP/CPMA going on. It would be great to get college vs. college competitions going.

Also is it cs:source or cs 1.6 that will be played??
